This week’s favorite frame complements this gorgeous painting by Betty Barton Blythe, a beloved Sewanee artist. Her pears showcase her masterful technique, bringing depth and emotion through her use of color and composition. The intricate patterns of this inlaid frame echo the delicate details in the background, while its rich color enhances the hues of the subject, creating a harmonious balance. Betty Barton is a member of Martha Keeble’s Sewanee Art Works class, which meets every week at Frame Gallery.
Here’s a heartwarming Christmas surprise and a first for Frame Gallery! A customer brought in locks of his children's hair to have framed as a special gift for his wife. Susan Askew embroidered the pieces, and we crafted shadowboxes to showcase the locks. It was a beautiful collaboration and such a thoughtful, meaningful surprise, making it a perfect choice for this week's #FavFrameFriday!
We framed these antique pocket watches for a customer as a gift for her husband. These cherished treasures deserve a display to match their timeless elegance and heritage. We also crafted a shadowbox to showcase them beautifully. Connie is the true master framer behind this #FavFrameFriday work of art!

The golden Bella moulding with an arched patterning enhances the play of light and shadow, perfectly echoing the space's architectural details. Artist Martha Keeble beautifully captures the charm and mystique of the quad at the University of the South, evoking cherished memories for anyone who has walked through this iconic archway.

It’s a design flexible enough to honor your favorite people, pets, and achievements.
A float frame is always an excellent choice for showcasing original paintings, like Tony Winter C'76's "Morgan's Steep Springtime." So, what do you do? Frame panels of it and hang it back in the bathroom along with the new. Brilliant.
